A Cloudflare R2 browser and file manager.
Stream Vessel lets you browse and manage Cloudflare R2 through a file-manager-style interface. Connect with an R2 API token and work in your buckets from the browser: upload folders, search, preview, edit, fix metadata and share.
What Stream Vessel adds to Cloudflare R2
The R2 section of the Cloudflare dashboard is made for creating buckets and settings, with a basic object list. Stream Vessel speaks R2's S3-compatible API, so R2 gets the same explorer, search, editor and sharing as any other bucket, and you can copy between R2 and your other storage.
Stream Vessel is an S3 browser and file manager for AWS S3 and every S3-compatible provider. Cloudflare R2 is a preset in the connection dialog.

- In Stream Vessel, add a connection, pick Cloudflare R2 and fill in the account endpoint and keys.
- Test the connection, save, and your R2 buckets appear in the explorer.

Sharing, AI access and transfers with Cloudflare R2
- Share Cloudflare R2 access without sharing keys. On Stream Vessel Cloud, share a Cloudflare R2 connection, bucket or folder by email at READ, WRITE or FULL, and revoke it in one click. How secure S3 sharing works.
- Give AI agents access to Cloudflare R2. An MCP token with a tier and an expiry lets Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client work in your Cloudflare R2 buckets, with every call logged. S3 access for AI agents.
- Copy between Cloudflare R2 and other storage. Open Cloudflare R2 next to any other connection and drag or paste to copy across providers, or send files to Google Drive. Cloud storage transfers.
- Keys stay yours. In the Chrome extension your Cloudflare R2 keys never leave your browser. On Cloud they are encrypted with AES-256 and never shown to the people or agents you give access. Where keys are stored.
Good to know about Cloudflare R2
- Bucket-scoped tokens are your first boundary. An R2 API token limited to one bucket keeps everything built on the connection, your shares and your AI tokens, inside that bucket. Nothing in Stream Vessel can widen it.
-
EU jurisdiction. Buckets created with the EU jurisdiction are served from a separate
.eu.endpoint. Use that endpoint for the connection. - CORS on Stream Vessel Cloud. Cloud applies the CORS rule it needs to your buckets. If a bucket shows the CORS status "Invalid or N/A", add the rule in the bucket's CORS policy, see the CORS FAQ. The Chrome extension needs no CORS at all.
- Moving data out of R2. Cross-provider copy works from R2 to any other connection and back. R2 does not charge egress fees for data read out of it.
