A DigitalOcean Spaces browser and file manager.
Stream Vessel lets you browse and manage DigitalOcean Spaces through a file-manager-style interface, using the Spaces S3-compatible API. Work in your Spaces buckets next to your other storage, in one explorer.
What Stream Vessel adds to DigitalOcean Spaces
The Spaces section of the DigitalOcean control panel lists and uploads files. Stream Vessel adds bucket-wide search, an in-place editor, metadata editing without re-upload, bulk share links, multi-pane copy to other providers, and sharing and AI access on Cloud.
Stream Vessel is an S3 browser and file manager for AWS S3 and every S3-compatible provider. DigitalOcean Spaces is a preset in the connection dialog.

Sharing, AI access and transfers with DigitalOcean Spaces
- Share DigitalOcean Spaces access without sharing keys. On Stream Vessel Cloud, share a DigitalOcean Spaces connection, bucket or folder by email at READ, WRITE or FULL, and revoke it in one click. How secure S3 sharing works.
- Give AI agents access to DigitalOcean Spaces. An MCP token with a tier and an expiry lets Claude Code, Cursor or another MCP client work in your DigitalOcean Spaces buckets, with every call logged. S3 access for AI agents.
- Copy between DigitalOcean Spaces and other storage. Open DigitalOcean Spaces next to any other connection and drag or paste to copy across providers, or send files to Google Drive. Cloud storage transfers.
- Keys stay yours. In the Chrome extension your DigitalOcean Spaces keys never leave your browser. On Cloud they are encrypted with AES-256 and never shown to the people or agents you give access. Where keys are stored.
Good to know about DigitalOcean Spaces
-
One endpoint per datacenter. Each Spaces bucket lives in one datacenter, such as
nyc3orfra1. Add a connection per region you use and open them side by side in separate panes. - Spaces keys are not API tokens. Stream Vessel needs a Spaces access key and secret, not a DigitalOcean personal access token.
-
Metadata and public files. Fix a wrong
Content-TypeorCache-Controlon a file you serve from Spaces by editing its metadata in place, without downloading and uploading it again. - CORS on Stream Vessel Cloud. Cloud applies the CORS rule it needs. If a bucket shows "Invalid or N/A", add the rule in the bucket's CORS settings, see the CORS FAQ. The extension does not need CORS.
